Poirier
Fish and Game Territory has exclusive fishing and hunting
rights on 320 km² (124 mi.²) in Provincial
zone 12, bordering La Vérendrye Park on the South-East side.
Only 236 km (150 mi.) from Ottawa or 360 km (223 mi.) from Montréal, the territory
is easily accessible from Hwy 117 (La Vérendrye Park), then
by turning left onto secondary Route 14 West at km post 294. The
Poirier family has been Fishing and Hunting Outfitters since 1940,
therefore know all the Sportsmen’s needs.
The main camp, on lake Delahey, renowned for it’s
Walleye and Northern Pike Fishing, is accessible by car, and it is
only
41 km
(26 mi.) from Hwy 117 on route 14 West! Northern Pike, Lake Trout
and Speckled Trout are found in our Outpost lakes. Although some
outpost lakes and hunting territories are accessible by car, we
suggest the use of a truck or ATV. The
10 cottages (1, 2 & 3 bedrooms) and 4 camps (no bedrooms)
at lake Delahey can accommodate 2 to 6 persons, are equipped for
housekeeping (European Plan) and are rated  to   .
The outpost cabins are rated &  and
are mainly used during Moose hunting season.
